Kristen Seideman, Intern Architect
Kristen is a 2019 graduate from Kansas State University’s College of Architecture Planning and Design, where she obtained a Master of Architecture. During her school curriculum which she completed an eight month internship program with Fennell Purifoy. She received first place in the U.S. Stone Competition during the 2017 Summer Studio, for the design of an Artisan Workshop in Downtown Wichita, Kansas. During her final year of school Kristen completed a stone and steel fabrication in the AP Design Shop in which she learned about the rigor of building a design. Many other valuable lessons were learned, especially about tolerances and practical design that she will continue to use throughout her career. In her free time Kristen enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time with family. Kristen is beginning to work towards becoming a licensed architect by participating in NCARB’s Architectural Experience Program and will study for the Architect Registration Exams.
