After a master plan was completed indicating priorities and phases, the first phase was completed creating a new entrance and adding a new children’s area. With a large overhang on the south, the new wing incorporates reading and stack space, crafts area and a story time room as well as support space. By creating an interesting, people friendly, entry feature the public face of the library is much more inviting than the former bank building projected.
