The Nature Conservancy Stair

Location: Little Rock, Arkansas

Designed to replace a deteriorated, exposed, existing stair, the new structure connects the two sides of the building with a covered walkway in addition to replacing the old stair. The “butterfly” shape is a structurally innovative way to accomplish protection, shading, and circulation.
