West Park Apartments

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Located just West of the Tulsa University campus, the Kendall Whittier neighborhood was a run-down area dominated by substandard apartment buildings and weed lots. In conjunction with TU, the Kaiser Foundation and developer McCormack Baron Salazar, Fennell Purifoy designed and provided full architectural services for the 148 apartments and multiple office suites as a mixed use/mixed finance project. The goal was to create a neighborhood with healthy urban living and environmentally sustainable features to serve generations to come. The $17 million development was completed in the Spring of 2013.
