Sustainability

Fennell Purifoy Architects has a legacy of forward thinking, evidenced by our history of designing with efficiency and the environment in mind. We’re proud to be at the forefront of sustainable architecture with many LEED certified buildings to our credit. But, we’re equally proud to have been carrying out this same mission for years, before it had a name. What is now referred to as LEED architecture, we just called responsible design. Whether a client is aiming for LEED Platinum certification or merely wants to get the most building for their money, our thought process is essentially the same. We want our designs to blend harmoniously with their surroundings, minimize their environmental footprint and of course, satisfy their end users.

Technology

Like our commitment to responsible design, our dedication to advanced technology has been generated by our tendency to lead and not follow. And like our other decisions, technological learning and acquisition is firmly rooted in performance and motivated by a desire to serve our clients better. We were the first architectural firm in Arkansas to use CAD in 1985. Today, we are again on the leading edge, with the introduction of Revit building information modeling software. Fennell Purifoy is one of the few firms in Arkansas using Revit software to produce entire sets of contract drawings, enabling us to create pronounced efficiencies throughout the design process.
